Sandwich Extrusion Coating Laminating Machine for Flexible Packaging

Introduction:

In sandwich extrusion coating and laminating, the resins, melted and formed into a hot thin film, is joined with the substrate materials like paper, PET film, BOPP film or aluminum foil. By such a converting process, we are able to deliver a high-performance flexible packaging materials for a variety of applications.

Our extrusion system can be designed as single extruder for mono-extrusion or 2/3 extruders for multi-layer co-extrusion. Extrusion lamination brings two substrate materials together by the melt resin extruded through extruders and T die. Extrusion die is a key component to produce low thickness variation when it works with advanced gauge control system. Automatic splicing turret type unwinder and winder are available for jumbo rolls of different roll diameters. The line also include some extra units such as primer coater for PET film and corona treatment units.

There are some benefits of such a sandwich extrusion lamination: more protection by adding thickness, enhancing barrier properties, greater puncture resistance and sealing characteristics.
