Introduction:

The gravure roll coating machine with closed scraper chamber can work with forward or reverse coating. The core function to apply ultra-thin, uniform functional coatings onto aluminum foil via precision metering technology, especially optimized for demanding passivation and barrier coating processes.

Application:

1. Gravure Roller & Enclosed Doctor Blade System 

*Precision Metering: Gravure rollers (80-600 LPI) enable coating weights of 0.5-20g/m² (±0.5μ accuracy). Ceramic-coated rollers ensure wear/chemical resistance. 

*Enclosed Anti-Splash Design: Sealed chamber prevents solution splashing at high speeds (≤150m/min). Pneumatic pressure system (±0.2Bar accuracy) with automatic wear compensation. 

2. Precision Coating Control System 

*Multi-VFD Synchronization: 4-5 AC variable frequency drives enable synchronized control across unwinding, coating, drying, and rewinding sections (10-150m/min). 

*Smart Control Platform: Siemens/Mitsubishi PLC + HMI touchscreen stores 100+ recipes. Tension control accuracy: ±0.5%; speed sync error: <0.1%. 

*Real-Time Monitoring: Automatic web break detection, coating quality inspection, and fault alarms. Floating dancer roll maintains tension stability. 

2. Efficient Drying & Temperature Control 

*Zoned Temperature Control: 15-18m oven with 5-9 independently controlled zones (50-200°C). Customizable drying curves prevent skinning/solvent retention. 

*Multi-dryer Options: Electric/thermal oil/steam heating systems. Driven rollers synchronize with main drive. 

3. Mechanical Structure & Automation 

*Modular Frame: Quick-access maintenance design with single-side operation platforms. 

*Precision Web Guiding: EPC edge control (±0.5mm).

Application:
The machine is good to process various flexible web materials including aluminum foil (8-150μm), PET film, plastic films, and composite substrates. The main applications include
